Cornucopia Restaurant: Discover Cashiers’ Best Dining Experience

Best place for lunch in the area. Great food and vibe!

First time customers & I loved it! The service was awesome, fresh food with large portions. The food came under 15mins, consistent waiter checking on the table. Prices are reasonable. My only issue was the steel table; it had a smell of wet metal that was not pleasing. A tablecloth would be a better choice in my opinion. Will visit again for the wings & juicy burgers

A popular local restaurant that is all open air or outdoors and dog friendly for the 5 outdoor tables. The food was good, the buttermilk pie being my favorite part of the meal. While the atmosphere was relaxed, my service was terrible. I ordered food and over an hour and half later it came after seeing my server once. The table busters were more aware that I was there than she was. When the food came, it was wrong, but at that point-2 hours in-and the server still hadn’t came back, I ate it and then enjoyed the really good buttermilk pie that they brought out with the meal, so it wasn’t actually warm- but, it was good in flavor. I then had to go inside to find someone to ask to pay my bill as the check wasn’t brought. I will say, the lady that brought my food to me apologized for their mishaps and then when she saw me at the front counter waiting for someone said I’m so sorry and told me not to worry about the bill. It would have been around $30. Overall 6/10.

It was just okay for me. The staff was exceptional. My biggest concern was how quickly our food came out. I know this is an odd concern because most people love to see their food fast. I've cooked hamburgers before, and our burgers came out lightning fast. Too fast..... so restaurants have high-speed cooktops? It just doesn't seem logistically possible that our burgers were cooked to order when we ordered them. My other concern was that I didn't feel all that great later that night (we had lunch there). I have no idea if the food was the cause or not, but it did cross my mind. I'd probably try the restaurant again (because of that uncertainty), but I would order something else. My dining partner liked the open air seating area.

So good! A must stop in Cashiers! Took our 2 and 4 year boys and they loved their chicken fingers and sweet potato fries. Loved the tomato basil soup and mixed green salad with ranch. Def get the big pretzel for the table! We will be back!

We had an excellent experience for lunch at 'The Corn' yesterday. The atmosphere is outstanding with covered open air seating; it's so nice to be outside in the mountains! Service was exceptional and the food was top notch; highly recommend the cajun turkey sandwich or the burger but the entire menu looked great. The restaurant itself was clean and well maintained -- I highly recommend a visit to Cornucopia any time you find yourself in Cashiers!

I love to eat here when we visit Cashiers. They have a great assortment of sandwiches and my wife is fond of the fried chicken salad. If the weather is nice, ask to sit outside!

Today was a beautiful day to enjoy some excellent food. Our service was great! Wish I could remember the lovely lady’s name. She was very attentive to our needs. First time here, we will be back
